If you were to visit Catskill Animal Sanctuary when we weren't giving a tour, most of the people you'd see here would be volunteers. We depend on volunteers every day of the week, for everything we do. We depend on people like you - people who are passionate about animals.

All our volunteers attend a volunteer orientation and will be fully trained before starting any task. We're committed to ensuring that every volunteer is always safe, comfortable, and having a great time.

What we ask of you

The highly organized work of caring for 150 animals requires that volunteers commit to a shift on the same day of every week. (It's okay if you must miss a week now and then.)

Volunteers age 12 to 15 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
